How long does it take to ship a luxury car?
Luxury car delivery takes between 1-6 calendar days from the date a car is picked up to when it’s dropped off. A driver usually covers about 500 miles per day. The first available pickup date for luxury auto transport is typically 2-7 business days after an order is placed, and express service is usually available within 24-72 hours. Express luxury car shipping guarantees either an exact pickup date or a precise drop-off date, whichever is more important to you, and is available with a 30% premium over baseline costs.

Should I consider enclosed luxury car shipping? 
About 65% of customers choose to ship luxury cars on an open-air carrier, and are perfectly satisfied with the results. The other 35% choose enclosed luxury car transport either because their vehicle is currently valued at more than $70,000 (which is our threshold for recommending covered car transport), or they need white-glove-level service to impress a buyer – or occasionally, the recipient of a gift. When transporting most classic cars and exotic cars we recommend using an enclosed trailer. If your situation requires the vehicle to arrive in the same pristine condition as it left, if you can’t risk the elements or even dust or dirt that might occur if the carrier drives through some weather, then transporting your luxury car enclosed would offer more peace of mind.
For instance, if you’re shipping a Ferrari with a 6-figure Kelly Blue Book value, you probably don’t want it stacked on top of an open carrier. Especially if it’s going through the mountains in winter or the desert in summer. An enclosed truck has fewer slots, typically just 2-6 per transporter, which further increases the attention to detail and fosters even greater individualized service.
