How long does it take to ship a car online?
Shipping a new or used vehicle for car shoppers from online sites like Craigslist, eBay, or an online dealership takes between 1-6 calendar days from the date your car is picked up to when it’s dropped off. A driver usually covers about 500 miles per day. The first available pickup date is for car transport is typically 2-7 business days after an order is placed, and express auto transport is usually available within 24-72 hours. 
The length of time your car is on the road is partly contingent on your location. It may take longer if it’s going through the mountains, especially in winter, or if there are weather-related issues such as during hurricane season. And where it’s going matters too – for instance, if the online transport address is in a remote area it can take an extra day or two as well. Once your vehicle is ready for delivery to either a dealership or to a residential home, we guarantee you'll have a great experience. If the driver can't reach your residential home because of narrow streets, he might ask you to meet him in a safe and public place for the drop off.
Given the fact that a carrier typically has 7-10 vehicles aboard, the ability to coordinate customer preferences and availability across multiple states, time zones and shifting priorities is what sets a great carrier above the rest.
